I have created an image for my web page.

I am basically trying to add links to the text on the image.

I understand it can be done by slicing the whole image into smaller images.

Once the image is sliced, i understand html code can be generated? How can this be done?

Is there any tutorials which show me in how to do this with either photoshop 6 or imageready 3, which ever is easiest.

Hope someone can help me?

:-)

there sure is a lot of way to achieve your goal..
you could do the slicing in Photoshop and do

File>Save for web

photoshop will generate the code you need for your image. Simply go in that code and add <a> around the image you want to be a link. Then copy the entire code photoshop has generated and paste it in your document...

just experiment with the "save for web" fonction..It"s great
