I have a few animated graphics on my website at tigereeks.com and they work fine on the FireFox browser, but I have noticed they don't move at all if I access the page with IE 6. In the past, graphics worked fine for IE6, so I'm not sure what changed. I tried reloading Flashplayer, etc..... A friend of mine can't see the moving .gifs with IE either, but can see them with FireFox. Any ideas?
Thanks for any help! (just an amateur here)

Okay, thanks for checking it out! I will reinstall my IE 6 again, hoping somehow to fix the problem. I guess my friend needs to reinstall theirs, too.

well, I uninstalled IE6, reinstalled it, uninstalled Shockwave Player and also FlashPlayer (using the uninstall files they suggest),rebooted, reinstalled both of them, and still can't get the graphics to show movement on my webpage when using IE6. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I'm not sure why some people's IE6 will work on my page, but others' won't. I am on Win98SE and my friend is on WinXP and neither of us can get the graphics to work on IE, it only works on the FireFox browser. Still a mystery.

There is a setting in IE to disable animations.
Location - Tools/Internet Options/Advanced - Scroll down to the multimedia section. You should find a checkbox title "Play animations in web pages." Check this box to allow animations.
I'm not sure what browser version you are using, but this should be nearly universal in other IE versions.

thanks, drallab, but I always have that option enabled in IE. :)
