Hello all,

I'm hoping I can get as much feedback about my website as possible. I'm a new developer/designer (started 6 months ago). The site is almost XHTML Strict valid (8 errors from an invalid counter on the bottom... i'm hoping to replace it soon.)

The site is http://www.whollylife.org

Any comments on the structure, markup, CSS, visual aesthetics, etc... anything is welcome feedback.

Thanks very much, I'm looking forward to hearing your comments.

The boxes along the right look "cut-off" I suggest either rounding all four corners, or adding to the padding-right, increasing the amount of space between the text and the edge.

The teal and green don't seem to match, to me. Teal is a cool color; and you've used greens and oranges, which (in combination) imply warm tones.

Congrats on the coding -- it's quite an achievement to have valid XHTML strict!

Yeah, this was really well done. If your counter at the bottom is a javascript thing, you might be able to get some help cleaning up some of the code so that the whole thing validates.

I agree about the teal on the outside edges not going with the rest of the site. How about a nice lime green?

Oh, and don't mess with the boxes at the right. I think it looks cool that the right hand side is 'stuck' to that outer edge, and the inner ones are rounded off. Makes for a nice effect, and a nice change from the "all four rounded corners" you see so much of the time.

Congratulations on a well done site.
