hi - any help? - i'm redesigning this template: http://www.mylifeguides.com/deanzacollege/index_quicktime.html
the movies will be converted to Flash (not relevant why) and they ideally would be embedded in the page in place of the picture of the fountain at the top. the movie index page will be created for each school in its own directory, but all schools will use the same movies from a general movie repository.
this index will be duplicated many times for other colleges so it needs to be very easy to maintain by someone with html/css skills - no heavy action script, no heavy JS and NO database this year. Target brower environment is community college computer labs. I guess oldish, with no ability to change preferences, and maybe with popup blockers.
so links have to do 2 things: selected movie plays and page goes to top. flash developer says javascript will be too tricky with the movies. If it weren't for the uncertainty of popup blockers, i'd have the movies launch in their own window. Any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated.
