I am looking for a way to create a SECURE page where a visitor will feel safe providing credit card information so that my customer can process the credit card purchase on the machine he already has.

This will keep from having a 'shopping cart', which he does not want to have.

Any and all help would be appreciated . . .

If your going to do any online credit cart processing or have a store, you need to look into getting an SSL certificate.

This is pretty much a must as far as online transactions are concerned. You will also need to look into developing your web pages with a server side language like ASP or PHP to make "secure pages".

Or you can plug your site in to something like Protx or Secpay and save you having to get the Secure Certificate

In any case, a 'shopping cart', or not, has nothing to do with making the site secure.

FWIW - Shop around and do some research first. Prices range from free to $$$. Avoid using anything like "Bob's Discount SSL Certs" because some (most) browsers won't recognize them and your users will get warnings. Thawte and VeriSign used to be the most popular and widely recognised. Not too up to date on all that stuff anymore.
