Hi,

I would appreciate any feedback on my website. My main concerns are the layout and functionality of the website. Please be as critical as you like.

Thanks

Thanks Egaladiest.

Do you think that site is easy to use and navigate around?

Well...overall I think it's very good...but you really should either change the icons ( world, eye-ball, and timer ) as they don't convey the message as to what the page is well...or...keep the icons and have the mouse-over pop-up a very small text message as to the page.

or ...maybe it's there already and I'm not seeing it because of No Script.

Egaladeist,

Do you think that I should keep the icon and have the text next to it or loose the icon all together. Secondly do you think that I need to explain what the website is about in more detail on the front page?

Thanks

Is the news section necessary? It doesn't really fit in with your site description, "This web site is aimed at helping you find a local, reliable and trustworthy tradesmen to carry out the job you need doing. Use our online search facility to find a local tradesmen that has been previously recommended by another member."

Correction: "Book mark" should be "Bookmark"

Nice colors, and design. I would, though, suggest you add more content: not necessarily about the site, but about the tradesmen recommended. Maybe some guidelines as to posting of recommendations and a disclaimer suggesting that your site isn't accountable for any loss/damage caused by the selection and/or recommendation of these tradesmen.
