How can I stop all the text content on my page fom being classed as keywords, either 2word or 3word.

Every 2 words seems to be a phrase when looking at it through a keyword desnity tool @ seochat? How can I get the spiders etc to only see the main keywords that I have actually worked the site around..I dont have much info on the page as it is. Also some of the css rules are showing up in the list, should I save this to a separate folder from the html files?

Take a look at these to help you understand?

This page, http://www.ainscough.co.uk/index.htm has the keyword density of
http://www.seochat.com/?go=1&option=com_seotools&tool=6&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ainscough.co.uk%2Findex.htm&termno=100&include_meta=1&include_alt=1&include_title=1&numerals=0&words=2&submit=Analyze

This doesnt have any of the other text listed as keywords......has the site been site to hide the body text and only show the Meta data?

This is the pain from my site http://www.positivimpact.co.uk
with the density of
http://www.seochat.com/?go=1&option=com_seotools&tool=6&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.positivimpact.co.uk%2Findex.html&termno=100&include_meta=1&include_alt=1&include_title=1&numerals=0&words=2&submit=Analyze

I realise that this isn't finished, no meta data, I havent even optimised fully yet. Im just after advice as to how to make sure only the important keywords are indexed and not every single word.

Any help much appreciated, or any links to helpful sites.

Google records combinations for all words, so you can't really stop the spider from doing what it wants to do. What you want is for the spider to be able to identify easily whatever keyword our keyword phrase you're targetting, so what you can do is optimize for a certain combination. for instance, if your keyword phrase is 2 words, make sure those 2 words have significantly higher density than other 2 word combinations. If you don't want 1 or 3 word combinations to stand out, lower their usage to blend in with other 1-3 word combinations.
Hope this helps.

P.S. I noticed your site is in frames. Here's Google's take on it.

In addition to "aarondm" reply strive to use your most important keywords in link exchange - place them in your link (not link description) to rank higer on SE. The other keywords then should be automatically valued as lower and will not be ranked or ranked very little.
