Efferent 10-01-2006, 12:59 PM I am not sure whether Dreamweaver or Golive better than another. But I am quite sure, GoLive is a less supported product than Dreamweaver. There has been some rumors around when Adobe aquired Macromedia says the Adobe won't continue Golive anymore, but Adobe anounced they will continue developing GoLive base on "customer demands." Nobody knows what exactly it means. Some other Macromedia products like FreeHand will also be sold on "customer demands". june82 10-02-2006, 07:07 AM I would say dreamweaver is much better then GoLive, with dreamweaver there is a lot of support, there is the macromedia exchange which is really good its a place where people develop side add-ons thats approved by Adobe and then you can download them and use them. Its also great if your designer or a coder, as it has multiple views, design view which is "What you see is what you get - WYSIWYG", then theres plain coding and finally half/half. Also there are many other development environments you can develop within Dreamweaver, really good product. Ascendancy 10-02-2006, 04:05 PM Okay thank you very much. I am using GoLive in school, and I secretly stuffed my zipped up Dreamweaver into my personal school U Drive. webdeveloper.com
