The only remark I already have is that your images are way to big in file-size. Maybe you should make them a little smaller. It took quite some time for them to load

Also your code isn't valid. Take a look at this. It helps you solve a lot :

As, above, make your images smaller.

You have made a connon mistake here, don't have the browser resize the image - it means you are displayng a small image with the file size of a large image and also, the quality is always poor if browser resized. Instead, use imaging software (even a fee one like Irfanview) and resize them to the size you want. You'll have a better looking image with a quicker download time.

Many thanks for your help. I have downloaded irfanview, and resized the 2 bottom images on the home page. Please can you let me know if its better? Do I need to change canvis size at all?

I don't see any change, they're still big and they still take an eternity to download.

I don't use IrfanView for that kind of thing as I have Photoshop and Fireworks, I just use it as a viewer as it's very quick loading. But I know it offeres resizing, I'll just have a look.

Open your image with IV, go to the Image menu and select Resize/Resample. Put in your dimansions (you have 204x144) and click OK, don't worry, it doesn't modify the original image unless you save it. Now go to File and select Save as..., make sure JPG is selected from the file type drop menu and play around with the quality slider - I'll suggest 90% for a very good quality image but an image size much smaller than what you have currently.

Now put these images on your site and put them on your server. Compare the image size file sizes, you should find that it's less than 1/10th it's original file size! :)

If you want you can still have the full size images for people that want to see them, just link the little images to the full size image and have them open in a new window. If you choose to do this however, make the full size images smaller too. Right now they are over 2000 pixles in width, the most you'll need is around 700px wide to cater for most users.

Can anyone please help me with a message board/blog. I would like visitors to register, and must log in to be able to post messages.
It must not be like a forum. When you are logged in and want to post a message, you simply type in your name, topic, message, but email must be visible to me? The post messages must all be below each other, but the whole message typed out must show, and not just the topic. Also, when someone posts a message, it must show online immediately.

Can someone please help me with a script or advise for this?
