I am taking a begineers computer science course (Java) and I need to buy the textbook. Does anyone have it?

The official text book is:
Starting Out with Java 5: From Control Structures to Objects
by Tony Gaddis, Addison Wesley, 2005
ISBN 1-57676-171-1.

However, I can also use the old textbook:
Problem Solving With Java (second edition or newer)
by Koffman & Wolz, Addison Wesley, 2002.

I would recommend trying e-bay, amazon, or just googling it.

I have tried all of those to no avail.

If you're taking a course, can't someone else on the course tell you where to get it? I doubt anyone will know where to find that specific book if you couldn't find it on ebay or amazon.

Try Sams' teach yourself java in 24 hours / Sams' teach yourself java in 21 days. They're good books for java reference or if you want to teach yourself.
