OK, Here is the question:

I do not know HTML, so I use Dreamweaver 4.0 in design view. I have designed my website template in Photoshop and have sliced it up. I saved all slices as JPEG's and now I am hoping to add them into DW 4.0. When I add them they are all brought in as tables...So, I would have to delete the 3 that are going to have text over them and add them as "background images"?? But as we all know this is going to cause me to have unstable situations. So, what do I do??? I dont have time to learn CSS now!!!

Im having a very similar problem.

I made my template in Photoshop 7, but am not sure how to transfer it into Dreamweaver correctly.

You see, if I set the page background as the image, my text is hard to align, and do I use tables or what etc? If i just use tables on the fresh HTML page, the template doesnt go right up to the edges, which makes it look poopy because it's supposed to end right at the side, but tables are indented into the page slightly.

Any help?

By the way cl8nc, what unstable situations do you mean? It might help if you explain. Oh, and you can learn CSS at www.w3schools.com.

Check the links in my sig. It's actually easier to do it right than to slice-n-dice and the result loads a lot quicker and is easier to maintain.
