Mysql version 4.27 vs 5.02

Hi are there any major differences between the above two versions mysql. With regards to syntax.

I have a webpage that works great on my test server but there are some issues on my web hosting provider.

also any major differences between PHP 5.1.6 and php 4.1 that could cause some conflicts.

any help is great

there is no mysql 4.27.

It's most likely the configuration of PHP on your server. Most PHP 4 code with run on a PHP 5 installation without a hitch. The most common cause for code incompatability is a difference in the fundamental configuration options.
