Convert Asp "append to text file" to Html ?

I have recently written an Asp application that allows users to vote in a poll, however becuase of hosting problems I have to convert my asp code to html. I need to know how to create/write/append or read from a text file using html.

Is it at all possible to do this?

I would appreciate all the help you can provide.

no. sounds like time for a new host. there are many very inexpensive ones out there and a few free ones too.
