Hey guys, my name is Matt, I recently filed my paper work for my own business Dynamic Media. I develop websites and other publications. (I.e. printed work) I am working on developing things and getting the business flowing, but I need input. Any advice any one could give would be much appreciated.


Thanks in advance for any and all help... I know I need it :)

You might get some reponses if you were more specific as to the type of advice you want? -- such as providing specific questions you'd like answered. ;)

ha ha... oops, well what im looking for is really not some thing that follows the rules, (ie mainly the pricing rule) but i guess one other Big topic would be what is the best way to get your website "known" should i really join these companies that are advertising "guaranteed reconization by Google or Yahoo" or is there a better way to do it with out them ? im pretty sure i will have more questions later but for now that is probabally the biggest one.

If you have good content and lots of support (hits and people linking to you), you can have a spectacular site without all the advertising.

Personally, I think sites with Google/Yahoo ads aren't as professional looking as those without. ;)

that is a good point, but what about getting listed on yahoo, or google for searches that is more what i was looking for :confused:

To get google to notice you you must just put content into your site. The more unique your product the better ratings. Things like web hosting are very hard to get to the top of google because every monkey and his uncle are doing it. But thing s like Elephant obiedience training will get great responces from google.
