Find out Email Delivery Success

OK, I need to figure out a way to track undeliverable and successful email deliveries. I've seen a ton of Marketing companies do this, yet I can't find any good resources to lead me in the right directory. I am currently running a 2003 Exchange Server and was wanting to use ASP or ASP.NET or C#. ANy information is appreciated.
