Retriving from forms to text file

ok guys, i'm new at this. i would like to collect info from forms and send to a text file. how to achieve that? and can i do that at geocities.com?? FYI, i'm using Frontpage 2000 to design my webpage.

You will need to use a Server Side language such as Perl or PHP to save the form data to a file. Not sure about Geocities.
