fedora core 6 amd xp2400

my pc which i just run as a server is running windows 2000 atm but i want to switch it to fedora core 6. and learn how linux works

im a linux n00b what version would i need to download?

i'm in the uk so a link to one right folder in one of the uk servers off the link above should get me started and im sure i can find my way from there
