What do you mean by symbolic link? And for that matter what is the XML is being used for? We need more information, as your question is far to vague and ambiguos to be answered at the moment.

In my office workspace I can see two xml file with the same name in different location. If I try to modify one, another one also being checkedout and getting updated automatically.I came to know that symboliclink is there between these two files. I want to know about this more.. :mad:
