sorry if this question seems somewhat crazy, but here it is:

is there some way to make fonts, lets say...for logos to be "universal" in the sense that any pc, regardless if it has the font installed already on it or not can view it the same as if it was installed??
^ALSO^ i dont want to have to go and make a separate image for this...im a bit lazy...hehe..

I know you said you don't want to make a separate image for this, but you would be far better off doing it that way, anyway...

Perhaps because embedded fonts only work with Internet Explorer?

Yes, that is exactly the reason. I'm quite surprised you would chose WEFT over imbedding an image... Odd...

And using an image will not work on browsers that do not display images.

While your embedded fonts will not appear for 10% of the the happily MSIE free, nobody buy the web author cares what fonts are being used.

Quite possibly right, but using alternate text, you could solve the problem for non-image browsers...

forgive me, but i am unfamiliar with this "WEFT" or whateva it is....and yes, im dreadfully afraid of images showing up incorrectly or taking too muhc time to load....which is anotha reazn why im not going to make images.....but thanx for your help anywayz..

so pleaz try to explain this "embedded fonts" thing to me if you will....it would be most pleasing to me
