I read about this in a local regional tabloid and wet myself with laughter as this has to be the funniest thing that I have read in a long time, the link here is to an online video of the event. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/249287/pelican_eats_pigeon

Just goest to show that nature adapts to new food sources, me wonders what next.... Small children?

It was in the BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/london/6083468.stm) news too. I sent it to everyone and put it as my wallpaper.

It's evolution at work.

A few millions years from now we'll have pelican flying around snatching birds out of the sky. A few million more and who knows it may be small children.
