How do you make an icon?

I need to make an ico image so that i can place it in the address bar

Does anyone know how to convert an image to an icon


Believe it or not, i have googled it and i could not find anything

Actually, If you have Photoshop, you can download a plug-in for it that's pretty easy to install. I don't know if it's true, but it says it will also work with Elements and Paint Shop Pro as well. So that way you can make the larger icons, and in addition, you can make icons without connecting to the internet. Although, if I had known that site was there I wouldn't have bothered to have found this plug-in.
