Over a long period of time i was able to access a website until i signed up for their newsletter. After i did - i have been completely unable to access the site from this machine. The site isn't even showing up in my cookies. Anybody have any ideas as to why? The site is still active - i can access it from other computers - just not this one. Thank you all...

What site is it? You obviously had something in that e-mail that screwed up the settings. It is probably something along the lines of spyware or it changed your internet settings.

The site is moonandstars.com. When i checked with them, they had never heard of anything like this and i've never encountered a situation like this before either.

What browser are you using? Check out the internet settings and see if you have anything blocking the content of that site.
--Wait, I just went to this site and got a big message saying Service Unavailable. Is this what you get?

i can't pull the site up either. but if what your are saying is true, that you can access it from other computers but not your own, then change your ip address and it should work.

No because it won't work for our IP adresses...
It has to be something either wrong with the site, or our browsers. Quickly, what is everybody using for browsers! I am using Firefox.

well, the site is obviously down right now. but when it comes up I would try changing your ip address in case it has been blocked!

well something you should look at trying is to see if you can even ping the site.
so do this...
Open a command prompt by doing the following:
Start -> Run, Type cmd then once in the command prompt type ping moonandstars.com then hit Enter
It should try 4 times to ping the site by default.
I have included a screenshot of what it should be similar too. Also I tried it again with an address that is not there. I couldn't find a site that was down to show what that would look like I'm sorry.
If your test does not look like either example we need to see why this is happening.
