i'm going to give you my educated guess:
jupitermedia decided to create the forum under its jupiterweb umbrella. the first registered user was balbert, an administrator account. 3 other admins followed, Richard1, sclark, and dragle, all of whom pop in at least once in a while. after that, the forum grew to the large forum it is today.

Anyway, I just wish a longer life for this board, and of course, to all its existing members. :)

We used to get mails from "rhein@jupitermedia.com" or something like that..after a while we started to get those from jpalermo, which..i guess is you..where and who is rhein!?
