hi. just wondering why in Firefox, the background images INSIDE some table rows appear. however in IE, they are all gone! :(

how do i fix this?

yes IE is a pain but 90% of the end users are on it so we have to deal with it.

we also have to deal with people still on IE4 and older browsers which just need a slap.

but if you use CSS the site should still be usable

90%? Where did you get that figure. Doing a quick google search I came up with arounf 60% on IE, 30% on firefox: http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

if you are using tables for layout, then you aren't properly using CSS. With CSS disabled, the page should just look like a Word Document. Very little on your site changed when CSS is disabled. You are also using frames. Which is just too horrific for words. And honestly, I have never taken the time to learn about how to use frames on a page, so Im sorry but i cant really help.

validate all your pages, and see if that helps. www.w3.org
