Please review our new church website for navigation, ease of use and design.
Kings Cross Church (http://www.kingscrosschurch.org/) :) Tullahoma TN 931-393-4570. Please be candid as our developer has flown the coup and we need advice.

The design is excellent, it really looks great.
As for ease of use and accessibility though, this is never going to be great when Flash is used for the menus. How would someone with poor or no sight or even no Flash plug-in installed navigate your site?
There are some points about the design I'd change though. The sounds: it's actually a little annoying, I'm a firm believer that web pages shouldn't use sounds when the user does something like rollover a link. Subtle sounds are excusable but the kids cheering every time the section changes gets a bit annoying. Perhaps my biggest problem is the lack of constancy with fonts and text colours throughout the site. I'm guessing the person who made the design isn't handling the content and content updates?

Nice site. I'm a very big fan of flash sites. Very techie for a church site, I might say. :)
Also, you might want to give your viewers an option to choose a flash or static site.

It is very pretty and flashy - but I dislike sites that force me to look at someone else's pace. So, I did not like the first bit, usually when I see 'loading' I just hit 'back'. Once I got to the actual home page with the 4 photos I liked it a lot - nice the way the photos resized with the cursor movement.
But...if I am going to a church site I want information, and probably quickly - what time are services? Where are you? Event calendar. I'm not going to find that quickly here. I think simpler would be better.
