ummmm.... just a random question in this forum. wasn't sure if it should have gone under computer issues or not. please move it if it should be there.
I have a camcorder but it's rather old. It uses the Hi8 tapes. I really want(would like) to be able to connect it to my computer. My camera has an s-video outlet, but before i buy anything, i just wanted to know if it will work, and what all will i really need.
I also have the (standard) video/audio outlet to plug it directly to a tv, but i'm guessing if i can ever get it to work with a pc, i need to use the s-video outlet.
of course, i don't really even know if it is possible... my pc would have to recognize the camera in order to let me use the two together, right? and my camera didn't come with any cd or something like that....
so yea.... if anyone has any idea, please let me know. i can provide more info if you need it.
