It is a tragedy that the Furnation administrators decided to revamp their website, because I wanted to use that as an example. They had a page that had animations, site meters, and all sorts of fun stuff. Here's what turned it into Tag Sewage: They used Microsoft Word to create it.

Recently, they revamped their webpage. It's still got more tables than a furniture store, but it doesn't have all the extra markup of Word.

For the curious, the url is http://www.furnation.com

So, anyone have horror stories of code /they've/ run into?

How about a college professor -- a PhD -- who teaches electronic commerce and whose professional Web site was built with Word, including the extra MS markup?!

Look at that source! Even for slop, that's pretty sloppy.
