Can anyone give me some feedback on this site that I am working on....I've been staring at it so long its blurry.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Also, I was told not to put a link for my website at the bottom of sites I create because it "looks unprofessional"??? Is this normal?

It's not valid HTML 4.01 (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dansautocenters.com%2Fmain.html&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=HTML+4.01+Strict)
It uses TABLEs for layout, which should not be done according to the WCAG 1.0 (http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG10/) in Guidline 5 (http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG10/#gl-table-markup).

You should use CSS to layout your page, instead of using TABLEs. Your CSS and HTML should be valid. Your site looks very nice, otherwise, however. Pretty decent, although you might want to try to enhance the graphic at the top. ;)

If your client suggests that you link to your own site from theirs, do it by all means. But if they say nothing of it, and you provide very good services, chances are they'll spread the word about you. A lot of the time you can get clients from other clients, as long as you do your job well and they are very satisfied. http://wdvl.com/ had an article on this a while ago... You might want to look around there. It's a decent resource. :)
