Director and Check Boxes

Hi,

Not sure if I can use this forum, but thought I'd give it a shot anyway.

I'm new to using macromedia Director and I was wondering whether its possible to create custom check boxes using my own graphics?

If so, would someone be able to give me some pointers or direct me to an online tutorial.
