Inserting video into Front Page

I have embedded a video into front page, it is a mpg, it does not play or appear when i preview the page or when it is uploaded to the internet. Are there certain things that must be done. It seems almost too simple to just insert a video into frontpage.

Anyone have any advice?

How did you insert the clip? Using Insert -> Advanced -> Plug In?

Yes, a link would be handy.

Also, if you are attempting to view the page using IE, it could be that the browser is blocking the video for security reasons (it requires an ActiveX control or Flash plug-in that you don't have). In this case, you have to work with the browser to get it to display, not the web editor.
