Hi people,
I'm having a bit of an issue. I own a music licensing company. I had a developer build a site with a flash media player. There's an image of the artist along with two tracks that I'd like visitors to be able to stream. The site is currently at http://www.nickcorey.com/rally if you'd like to see it. (not functional right now). The problem: The streaming flash audio (is that right? flash audio file? - ) is creating a problem as far as finding web hosting. I can't seem to find a web host that will allow streaming flash audio even at a moderate rate (10-20 songs being streamed at once) for a reasonable amount of money (i.e., under $20/month). I've been told it would use to high a % of the cpu. Someone else suggested calling the audio file using xml. I don't know how to do that. If anyone has a suggestion as to how I might proceed I'd greatly appreciate it...I've been at this for hours...
thanks.
