I've just discovered a new software , i was impressed cause it is so easy to use.
Now i'm using it to protect my daughter, she likes to surf the internet and i'm more relaxed now:)
CSS is an activity monitoring software, records keystroke typed and can take screenshots; ideal for parents concerned about their children's computer activity, for employers concerned about their employees using computers for other purposes then working, for wives or husbands who suspect their spouse.

Suspect their spouse of what? Spouses are adults who have the right to privacy. The program you like is a tool to spy and invade people's privacy. An employer may have the legal right to put this stuff on computers he owns, but home computers should not be surveilled. Talk to your kids if you want to know what they're doing on the web.

What does she think about it? (the fact you suspect both of them of cheating...)

Well speaking from the side of the fence that this has happen too...
It's a very hard choice to make. However I should mention that as a parent if I knew my child was spending a large amount of time chatting, I would install such software again!
Not so long ago in my area there was a girl that left town with a guy nearly x2 hear age that she met on the Internet in a chat room. As a parent with key logging software I could have prevented her from being missing or worse happening. Lucky for her someone noticed her and reported her to the police and the girl was returned safely home.
I have also had a sister move to another country to live with someone she meet on the internet. She wants to come home yet I'm not going to foot the 2k air fair bill home. Had I known that things were getting that far in her chats I would have stopped that. Since she was living with my family at the time it would have been easy for me to step in and play BIG BROTHER.
Also many companies are installing key loggers on company PC's and laptops.
There are some very valid reasons for key loggers.
Lastly the only difference between key loggers and hiring a PI is cost.

The problem with keylogger software is reverse psychology. If the person using the machine you're monitoring ever finds out they'll be so annoyed with you they probably will find someone else.
Children and the internet is a current issue on the bbc actually:

Hello Big Brother!!
I trust my daughter but the thought that she talkes with stangers makes me go crazy so i rather have an eye on her Do you spy on her when she goes out with her friends as well? Kids deserve privacy too, after you've made clear the rules. What exactly do you trust her to do? How can you trust your daughter when you want to spy on her and invade her privacy all the time.
O really what? Reverse psychology is a fact.
I was actually disputing with your watching of your spouse. The children reference was an aside, which is why it's separated from the rest of the post. If you can't trust your spouse then what are you doing together???
However, since you can only argue about kids, here's a new set of rules for kids:
1) All children will have keylogger software installed on their computers. (don't ask who's going to find the time to monitor them)
2) All children will use only these computers - they cannot use any computers in public libraries, schools etc.
3) All children will be indoors at 8'o'clock every night.
4) All children will go to bed by nine.
5) Anyone under the age of 18 may not see any movie with a gun in it in case they decide to kill someone.
6) All children will not be allowed in cars travelling over 30mph because they're at a higher risk of injury.
And so on.
Again, what age will you start and stop monitoring?
Whatever you do, children will get round it.
My point is this: It is impossible to try and control the actions of every child in the country. We have to leave it to each parent to decide what to do - there is no one size fits all solution. You cannot say every child will be monitored. Some parents just don't care.
Also, no longer has any relevance to web development, so it should technically be a weekend only thread.

Well this thread may or may not be off topic -> good suggestion!
However there is a level of saying where and when is this needed. There is a number of "Safe Computing" things a parent can do. WHere the need for such software wouldn't be needed.

ok she was found..but the fact itself ..you are ok with that? you would't be angry if your girl would disappear with a man that she met on the internet?

Intcomp,
Anyone would be angry if someone was kidnapped or worse, because of some person they meet online.
But the key thing we covered 2 weeks ago when the last post was made was that this software is not for everyone yet it has a need and use it at the risk of betraying the trust of the people you’re watching. Should you use the software for the sake of spying on someone.

if i may add my comments, as a member of the "younger generation" if you will...
i can say that if i found that my parents were spying on my computer time and invading my privacy, i would be freakin mad...i mean, i dont even do anything "bad" on the computer other than downloading mp3's, but they already know about that...the fact is that if they cant trust me to do the right stuff, then i cant trust them to keep out of my business...then my safeguards and walls go up, and youve just made the situation worse...
if you (general "you", not speaking to anyone in particular) cant trust your kids, then whose fault is that? i mean, if you havent taught your kids what and what not to do, then its not their fault as to what happens to them...its yours, because instead of teaching them to the point of where you CAN trust them, you decide to spy on them instead and break any trust you might have had...
in the business sense, this is a good idea, but thats not the debate...teach your kids not to meet with people online, and trust them to do the right thing...;)
