How do I place a Blog in search engines?

When I started the site for my daughters tumor... I never submitted it to google. Yet from inbound links and general google spidering it has become a very nicely ranked site in google for a couple of different searches.

you can also mannually submit your site to google by going to teh google webmaster page. Just search for "google webmaster"

BTY you can also manually submit in Yahoo as well as Windows Live.

I don't think there is a separate rule for blog. Its same as that of the site in respect to the SE submission.

good blogs rank very well if you constantly update the content. blogs usually have alot of fresh content. search engines love fresh content.
