What are the best html programs to use in order to help you create a good website? Dreamweaver MX and what else is there? Also, how do these programs stack up...does it beat the old fashion long way of doing it yourself?

Thanks!

I have use Homesite for quite some time now.and have recently found out that Dreamweaver MX has integrated Homesite in it..so I'd say Dreamweaver is probably a good choice

For WYSIWYG I highly recommend Namo WebEditor:

Guess it depends what type of site you want. If you want a site with nice clean code, fairly simple, html-kit from www.chami.com is great. And free.

If you're looking for the best, then there's no competition. Dreamweaver. Especially if you buy the full suite...

dreamweaver is the best by far! For a long time I coded websites by hand but since I bought my first version of dreamweaver a few years ago it has cut down the time it takes to build a site substantially.

I use Microsoft Frontpage- I think its pretty simple- might have to come here for some coding though ;) unlike Dreamweaver (but I find that program way too complicated).
