How to make a forum?

I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to either make a forum or find a free download that is similar to this sites forum only i don't know any of the big fancy computer words so if you could please explain it so that i can understand it I'd appreciate it thank you for your time i know that this is probably a hassle, thank you.

If it's easier for you, how much do you know about HTML and CSS? Because if you don't know a lot, creating a forum with phpBB might be the best way to go.

I just use frontpage its so much better. Except I just got it so theres a few issues here and there I had to get new webhosting. But all in all I like it.

if you're serious about the forum, and plan on being there for the long term, I'd consider buying a vbulletin license. it's really the best forum software that's available imho..

What about creating a phpbb forum?
I had problem implementing mods too, but phpbb simplifies the task.
The most simple and efficient to create a forum, imho ;)

The easiest way to get a forum...

Make an account on freewebs with forums, look at them, right click for the page source, and copy the javascript code onto your own site.
