Try to avoid using tables for layouts, switch to css and faux tables as soon as you can. Try to structure your content using symantic mark-up, proper headings, lists, definitions, etc. Try to remember that not everyone who visits your site is using the latest browsers and they don't all have 20-20 vision. If you split your mark-up in symantic html and use a style sheet to manipulate this then your site still works, css or not and you'll increase your audience. Happy coding! factor 12-18-2006, 09:54 AM I like the colors and the layout, although there are several things I think you should correct. The center column is not centered, and the borders are duplicated at the bottom of the page in FireFox and IE. Like scottrickman said, you should not use tables for the layout. This is important from accessibility perspective, you can try to disable the styles to see that the content is not linear which can prove to be a barrier for some web technologies. ACarOwner 12-18-2006, 10:29 AM I concur with Scottrickman's statement that one does need a 20/20 vision. I don't have one, so it's kinda hard to pick out individual words, but I guess there is no other way to put all the info in there on the front page. One other thing I noticed were the varying font sizes in different columns and text blocks, you may wanna try to keep the font size for the texts and links more consistent. That's my subjective view, but otherwise, the site is very useful, there's enough advertising on it that doesn't look irritating at all, and lots of good content! Way to go! dera 12-19-2006, 07:36 AM the free background on the left the watermark makes the blue text harder to read i would remove it as it becomes redundant when you right "free [product name]" justinbarneskin 12-19-2006, 07:54 AM Thanks for the cutePDF writer.
