Database space

I was wondering if anyone knew of a service that provided a database (to be used for a phpBB2 forum). I previously used Lycos Tripod UK but now there are big, ugly ads taking up like a fifth of the page so I need a new service.
My host doesn't provide me with a database because the space I use came free with the domain. Anyone know something I could use?

I've used www.spaceports.com in the past, and found it to be quite useful, but sometimes slow. It's ad-supported, of course.
