First off, Merry Christmas

Hi
I was making maintenance in my desktop. I empty all the files in My Documents folders that I have save in a disk. now I put a file in the receiving files folder , then I forgot how much kb the file had. so I right click the receiving file folder and the pop up said the file is 359MB. and when I check the file it said is only 345kb. I doble check and stay the same, then I try the other folders and they all have a lot of MB. and they are empty. now my computer is slower than a snail, I need to click 2 or 3 times to open a program and its took a lot of time to open a program and when I try to save in the folders, its getting the MB higher no matter they are empty. could someone tell me how I can delete the "invisible MB files" from the empty folders. they are the folders in My Documents.
thanks a lot for any help.
Carmen

try downloading
ccleaner (google it) run it
also try a defrag

i must say the problem sounds very usual if nothing is in the folders :S

also ctrl + alt + delete and see whats running and whats using up your CPU cycles and memory

Hi
I did a system restore and it remove the windows HotFix that causes ll the problems, it shows folders with excess MB, It delete my Incredimail, MS Office, and Front Page. I did the restore and delete the folders of my documents and make new ones. they are now working fine. the only thing I need to do now is check how I can make the computer more fast as its seems like a snail to open programs or do simple tasks as save a document or graphic. it stops for nerly 9 seconds then continue.
Thanks for all the help you provide me, I save the message in case I need it again. lol
Have a Great Christmas and keep helping us newbies. lol
