Books

Hi:

I would like to get a complete set of books that would tell me everything i need to know about developing for the web.

in particular, books i need:

A general book about how the internet works.
A book on xml and all things xml related (xsl, x-path, etc)

I think i have most other areas covered, i have some good programming books, php books and mysql books. I would just like some books to give me a better general knowledge.

Can anyone reccomend any? or think of any areas i have left out.

The ones in my sig are web-specific starters. Check O'reilly for books on "how the internet works." They'll be primarily about TCP/IP and Unix networking.
