Aren't their browsers that read the text on screen aloud? If so, where can I get one?

The W3C WAI used to publish a list but I can't find it now. Perhaps it's all a part of the corporate interest take over of the WAI ( http://www.alistapart.com/articles/tohellwithwcag2/ ), perhaps not. But you can find a heap of them with your old friend, now corporate interest itsef, Google. Try "audio browsers" and "text readers".

I think the JAWS screen reader by Action Scientific (I think that's the name) has a trial version of their software. It works for 40 or 45 minutes and then closes itself until you restart your computer.
