posting form information

Help, I am new at ASP but am really trying, I did a order form I found about form data and post data. I have my form working except that I only want the items selected with a quantity value to post. There is abouth 30 items on the order form and I want the submit form not to be cluttered with items not requested - does that make sence. Please help, I have been trying to fix this all day and am getting fed up
