AVI files -- not being played when clicked on.

Hi,

I got my video files saved into the AVI format, but when attempting to download them from the web, my computer opens them in Windows Media and treats them like audio files...:D(

Should i have them in another format to display easilly through the web by just clicking on them?

What were you expecting? Its a video file. Linkly directly to it of course will play it in WMP.

i realize that they are not in a nice presentation, I just want to view them to see how they will run.
