I am trying to find a script where I can put a search box on my home page, and the results would be displayed on a new pop-up page. I have been working on it for days and gotten nowhere. Is there a script or something I can use to help me with this?
You'd be best of doing this server side... what languages do you have available?

I am sorry, I am actually a database programmer who has just taken over the website. I am learning this as I go. What do I need to do to find the information you requested? Is there a way to tell?
You should be able to contact you host, and they will be able to tell you. Where is the site hosted through?

ok, it is http://www.verio.com/ and my particular site is http://www.gabrielfirst.com
Depending on which plan you have, it looks like PHP might be available. If so, look at http://php.resourceindex.com/Complete_Scripts/Searching/Searching_Your_Web_Site/
I also just thought of something else.... You could team up with google... http://www.google.com/services/websearch.html
