Help in selecting a row in a Html table

Hi all,

Iam using table to display users which r displayed row wise.In the same row
iam keeping checkbox to select that row or particular user.My question is how
to select that user by searching by name, similar to select lists by which we can search for option names easily. Any help would be great.
