Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : .psd files dennic 07-19-2003, 04:56 AM why doesnt html recognise .psd files? CrazyGaz 07-19-2003, 05:01 AM it isn't HTML that doesn't recognize the file format, it is the browser. if I am correct then a PSD file is adobe photoshop. there is no way to make the browser recognise a file...unless you write your own browser which seems a lot of effort for such a minor problem. Gaz dennic 07-19-2003, 05:05 AM the only way other extension i can convert this file to is a tiff file or a raw file, why cant i convert the file to a jpg? i know im off the track a bit and its probably a worthy question in a photoshop forum, but if anyone can help me i would be real appreciative. CrazyGaz 07-19-2003, 05:10 AM well I don't know much about photoshop but what you could do if you have the XP version of paint or microsoft photo editor. Export it from photoshop as a .TIF and then open it in Paint/photo editor, and then save it as a JPG from there. spufi 07-19-2003, 05:25 PM Within Photoshop there is an option to save a file for the web. By doing this it will convert the file to a .gif file by default. webdeveloper.com
