The strangest thing happened yesterday. I was abducted by aliens. They took me aboard their ship and showed me their computer. To my surprise they were running Windows 98. They showed me that when you create a new toolbar for the taskbar then close it, it disappears form the menu of toolbars and the only way to get it back is to recreate it. They said that if I could not show them how to keep the custom toolbars form disappearing they would destroy the earth! They also said that if I could show them how to make all the folders within a folder automatically be on the list of toolbars then they would tell me how to end world hunger, poverty, war, and all the other problems in the world.
So how do I do this?

I know that information for these toolbars is in the registry but I don't know where.
Does anybody know?

I know this is possible because ZoneAlarm has a toolbar that wont disappear form the list.

"Wisest Guy" obviously has a question about something. Now all that is required is for Wisest Guy to provide an English translation of what that question is along with enough info that we can actually tell what the question is about and someone may be able to come up with an answer.

They wouldn't let me take pictures.
When you right-click on the taskbar you get a menu that pops up.
On that menu is a item called toolbars.
Moving the mouse over that item pops up another menu that is a list of toolbars that looks something like this:
Address
Desktop
Links
v/ Quick Launch
---------------
New Toolbar
You can click on New Toolbar then choose a folder and it will create a new toolbar and add it to the list.
When you close one of these new toolbars it disappears from the list and you have to recreate it to get it back.
How do you prevent it from disappearing when you close it?

I know that information on these toolbars is at:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\Streams\Desktop
But I don't know how to read it.
Can anyone tell me.
