Hello
I recently purchased the program and domain name through www.godaddy.com, and decided to try designing my own website through their "easy" program, that can be done in less than hours. Ok, so I'm not a tech wizard, but I'm also not stupid, BUT, I'm having the hardest time getting around the site, it's not user friendly, and i'm now on my second day, and wish I could just cancel everything with them and start again, but I can't afford to go anywhere else.
Does anyone else use or have used Website Tonight program that could guide me if I have any problems?
Thank you.

I haven't used the program you mentioned but had lots of problems at first getting around my website host. I ended up searching for a free web template design which I liked and could edit easily (took a while as some are not easy to change). I currently use NVU a free opensource HTML editor similar to Frontpage http://nvu.com/index.php and Coffee Cup free FTP (there are many other free FTP programs around) to upload direct onto my host's server. Life has since been much easier.
Success to you.

I am currently web admin. for 3 websites. The last one is hosted by go-daddy & is website tonight... I hate it!!!!
The others are powered by trellix on other hosts.
Website tonight? more like website a week from now.
It is the slowest, most confusing, hard to navigate &makes you go around & around to do the simplest things.
When the 1 year contract is up, I'm going to highly recommend transferring to another host & another site builder.

I have several web sites hosted with godaddy and never had any problem working with them.
The websiteTonight program may have some issues and problems - I never used it.
Google also offers a web site builder program free of cost. Try it.

I also have several GoDaddy websites, and have never had a problem.
The WebsightTonight program however...never again. It was awful! I wound up dumping the whole thing and calling GoDaddy to get it off my account.
Recently I heard about this site webshapes (http://www.webshapes.org/) and I haven't used it yet, but I've looked at it quite a bit and it seems to be a good resource of some nice templates, if templates are what you are after.
