developer news feeds

I have been looknig for a while for a news feed for developers.

Rather than announcments of new software products and the like, is there any news feeds that are simply programming techniques, tutorials, discussions etc?

if anyone knows anything like this please let me know.

Are you looking specifically for RSS feeds? If not then check out the newsgroups where you'll find a huge volume of discussion on everything from generalities to niches.

thanks both, i have quite a few now, nothing spectacular but they keep me updated.
