Bonjour,
Is the colors and shape parameters for the scrollbar supported in the latest firefox ?

Do you know some websites who have a customized scrollbar ?

merci beaucoup, Sylvain.

To my knowledge, no. Customized scrollbars (colors, etc.) were entirely an IE-thing. I think that one version of OPERA the browser supported it at one time. Maybe in Firefox, the 'chrome' themes might change the color of the scrollbars, globally. -Is this what you are talking about? I am thinking more about that proprietary <script> thing that only works for IE..

I guess that the needs for accessibility/visibility of the 'default' settings for scrollbar outweight the needs/desires for some putrid color combinations that can occur, although I did once use a colored scrollbar theme for a Nursery School Co-Op site a few years ago. The colors were based upon the theme of the site, -and looked rather nice.

There might be some javascript ability to change the default settings of the scrollbars. This might be okay I suppose so long as non-javascript-enabled user-agents aren't stymied by their non-use of *js. Basically, messing with the main means of navigating a page whose vertical height exceeds the visitor's viewscreen is deemed by many to be a bad thing.
