Document titles

When launching new windows from links, the document titles don't appear in the browser title bars if they are not web pages - e.g. Word documents, *.pdf files, just the directory paths.

Is there JavaScript available that will find the titles in the other document types and display them in the browser's title bar?:confused:

Without any html or javascript within the new window?
I don't think that is possible.
